Missing two-year-old boy prompts urgent police search

Police have launched an urgent search for a two-year-old boy believed to have been taken from a Beaudesert home on Tuesday night.

Police consider the child to be at “significant risk” after a 44-year-old man known to the boy was believed to have taken him from a Diamantina Circuit address.

The two-year-old was described as fair skinned with light hair and dark eyes, while the 44-year-old was of a solid build, with tanned skin and short grey hair.

Police did not know whether the man was travelling in a vehicle or on foot.

Anyone with information that could help locate the man or boy is urged to contact police on 131 564, or call 000 with information regarding any life-threatening incident.
