Mum Aimee used a donor egg from her sister to help create her identical twin daughters, Winnie and Dulcie, born last year, after many rounds of IVF. New provisions in Victorian egg and sperm donation regulations will make it easier and quicker to get both from overseas donors, as the local shortage continues, which is a good thing for the quickly rising number of single women doing IVF and for the also-increasing number of couples needing eggs or sperm in Victoria.Credit:Justin McManus
