Mark Carney’s Liberal Party is projected to win the Canadian election and form the next government, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC) has projected.

The BBC’s North America Correspondent John Sudworth is at the Liberal Party HQ, where Carney supporters erupted into cheers as the party was projected to form a government.
